Last fall, I moved into my new studio in Hartland, Wisconsin. It’s been a dream shooting there, and I’ve had so much fun building out new sets for my clients to shoot in. It was here that I met Ms. HW, who arrived at the studio ready for her first boudoir session. 

She had also never had her hair and makeup professionally done, so she was equally as excited about getting all dolled up. While she got ready, we chatted about why she had decided to take the leap and book the session. She told me that she had been feeling down about herself and her body lately, and she wanted to be reminded that beauty came in all shapes and sizes. 

As I guided her through the poses, I could see her confidence growing frame by frame. She was feeling good about herself in front of the camera, and it definitely showed. When we looked through the photos together at her private ordering appointment , she told me that ​​her session had made her see herself in a different light, and she was feeling more confident and sexy than ever.
